This live course is designed to help Year 5 students develop and consolidate their skills in a relaxed, educational, fun environment. Live sessions are from 10.00-12.00 each day.
The course is suitable for both those new to the 11+ and those with some previous knowledge of the question types, seeking to improve their level through an increased understanding of strategies and techniques. During the week we cover all key elements of the 11+ Gloucestershire Test, with each day consisting of English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning topics.
The course takes place over five mornings, with each morning lasting 2 1/2 hours. Every morning will be in two parts, divided by a short, 15- minute break. We understand that some children worry about giving the wrong answers so our tutors will use the chat function on Zoom®, to check your child's understanding and reinforce concepts where helpful. Children are also free to ask questions as we go along. Tickets are limited to keep a low pupil:tutor ratio and also allows lessons to focus on quality; allowing us to make pathway adjustments as they arise.
Extension activities will also be offered throughout the week which may be completed daily or at another time.
