Looking for 11+ support over the summer?

Our 11+ Summer Camp is the perfect summer event for supporting your child with preparing for the Gloucestershire GL Style 11+ Test in September (whilst responding to the more relaxed summer dynamic!).

Running over 2 days in either July or August between 9am and 3:00pm, your child will take part in icebreakers, games themed around the 11+ test as well as teaching sessions on each element of the 11+ test. In the first session, your child will be given a Summer Camp Workbook that has an outline of the two days as well as checklists for assessing their learning and space for them to put their notes on what they have learned. The workbook is designed so that your child can have extension tasks to complete at home – it’s not expected that they will complete the whole book on the camp!

On the second day, there is a session at the end of the day that parents/carers are invited to attend to find out more about exam technique and relaxation tips. We also include some final tips in the workbook to support with last minute preparation!

To give you an idea of how the two days will look, below is the timetable for our 2023 Summer Camp - please note that the timings are flexible as we respond to what the children need on the day.

Sessions are run by our experienced Cots Ed Tutors, all of whom have experience teaching and tutoring for the 11+ test. We keep group sizes small to ensure every child gets the most out of the two days so spaces are limited!

No hidden extras – just bring a packed lunch and a snack! In order to accommodate dietary needs, we request that any food brought to summer camp is nut free. We are able to cater for various dietary needs for the light refreshments so let us know when you book if your child would benefit from this.
