Stepping Stones to 11+ (Online Group Tuition)

Our Stepping Stones to 11+ online course is an introduction course to help your Year 4 child lay strong foundations for understanding the core concepts and question types used in the Gloucestershire 11+ test. All teaching is taught "live".

The course runs on Thursdays between 5pm and 6pm, starting on Thursday 16th April. We will take a break in the half term and restart on Thursday 4th June until Thursday 25th June.

Rather than pushing through workbooks, which can lead to "burn out" during Year 5, we approach the content through puzzles and games specifically designed to promote the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed come the 11+ exam. Even if you and your child choose not to pursue the 11+ test in the future, your child will have gained key skills to support them at school. The majority of the session content is designed by Cotswold Education and is specific to the Gloucestershire 11+ test. We will also use CGP books, which is a highly reputed 11+ publisher.

The course is run by two of our staff who are qualified teachers with extensive 11+ tutoring experience. We will encourage all children to participate in the sessions but we understand that some children feel more confident than others. We use features built within Zoom such as the chat and poll function to allow all children to participate without needing to use the microphone if they don't want to. Our tutors will keep their cameras on but there is no requirement for your child to do the same.

The price for the course is £180, which covers all 10 sessions, working out to only £18 per session! Tickets are limited to ensure we are able to keep a low staff:student ratio.
