Find a Tutor
Here at Cotswold Education we believe that getting the right tutor is essential for an effective and successful education. Finding a tutor can be a massive headache and finding one appropriate for you is even more difficult. You may have come across our site while searching the internet for a tutor in the subject and level that you need. Why not stop now and talk to us about your needs. Our advice is completely free and you may save yourself a lot of valuable time by using an approved tutor. We only use the best tutors and to ensure this we:
- Require all tutors to have a current enhanced CRB disclosure which we always check
- Require our tutors to be experienced tutors with at least an honours degree - most of our tutors are teachers or university lecturers
- Interview all prospective tutors so we know more about them than just their qualifications
- Contact the referees supplied by our tutors
- Do not recommend any unqualified tutors
- Monitor our tutors' performance by ongoing feedback from the tutee
Finding a tutor is easy, just call, email or text us and we'll do the rest. To help us put the right tutor in touch with you it is hepful if you have the following information to hand:
- Level and subject you are enquiring about (eg primary science, grammar school entrance, GCSE mathematics, art for fun)
- Examination board (if known)
- Approximately how many hours a week tuition you would like
- Whether you are looking for long term or short term tutoring
- Your location so we can try to ensure the tutor lives nearby
- Any special requirements you may have
